Happy Tong Yuan Day !!!

冬至快乐

This is my one of the favorite day among all the Chinese festival... this is because me heart Tong Yuan, as i know there is very less people do like it, but just don't know why..i'm so addicted with IT. Every single of the Yuan is represented the 'age' of a year...

Tang yuan is a Chinese food made from glutinous rice flour. Glutinous rice flour is mixed with a small amount of water to form balls and is then cooked and served in boiling water. Tangyuan can be either small or large, and filled or unfilled. It is traditionally eaten during Yuanxiao, or the Lantern Festival.

This new moniker literally means round balls in soup. 'Tangtuan' similarly means "round dumplings in soup". It's come with many colour, there are in light pink, bright green, white is the command colour and some have it in yellow colour.
Preparation by roiling the glutinous rice flour into round shape... but it's fun if you parent allow you to do it into any shape, unfortunately my mama don't allow. Strictly 'NO'.... =(
By looking into the final product, i can tell you that it's taste nice...because it's man-made by Mama's love.
